Join bestselling author of “The Beginner’s Guide to Dressmaking” and “A Beginner’s Guide to Making Skirts” Wendy Ward and make a stunning draped skirt from her latest book “A Beginner’s Guide to Sewing with Knitted Fabrics” - a signed copy of which is included in the workshop price.

This class is ideal for beginners or for those with sewing experience as despite the unusual sculptured and draped style of the skirt, its construction is deceptively simple! Don’t be scared of sewing knitted fabrics, we’ll be using a regular sewing machine and Wendy will guide you through setting up the machine to sew stretch fabrics – it’s a lot easier than you think. Choose between knee length or just below the knee and/or adding deep pockets at the side.

Details of recommended fabric requirements will be sent to you upon booking.
