Pattern cutting weekend - create a bespoke bodice day 2

  • Sew in the City 119, West Bar Sheffield, England, S3 8PT United Kingdom (map)
Pattern cutting weekend - the bespoke bodice. 7th and 8th July 10am - 4pm

Develop your dressmaking skills by learning the art of pattern cutting with fashion industry insider and lecturer Tracey Holland.

Over two days, you will learn how to cut a pattern for a bespoke long line bodice that you will fit to your shape. You will also cut a 'toile' - a calico mock up of the bodice to tweak to fit. The pattern and toile will be unique to your personal measurements and can be used by you, in the future, to make tops and dresses that fit you perfectly.

An ideal course for anyone who is keen to make start making their own clothes and wants that perfect fit.

Our tutor Tracey Holland has over 20 years experience working in the fashion industry as a pattern cutter and as a fashion lecturer.

This course will include all materials to enable you to cut a pattern including calico to cut a toile. A tasty lunch is also included on both days.
